Tree Service Worker:
Our client in the tree industry is seeking a Tree Service Worker or Groundsperson to join their team!
The company, SK Tree, is located in Byfield, MA.
The groundsperson is responsible for:
- Cleaning up debris and sticks.
- Collecting logs, leaves and branches.
- Cutting, trimming and pruning trees.
- Providing tree healthcare.
- Using a log chipper.
- Driving trucks.
- Transporting equipment.
- Running rigging ropes for tree removal and lowering limbs.
- Plowing and snow clean-up in the winter.
Ideal candidates are/possess:
- Hands on
- Self-starters
- Willingness to learn
- Equipment familiarity
- Able to work a flexible schedule
Requirements:
- Experience with saws and other electronic tools.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug test.
Nice to Haves:
- CDL license
- Hoisting license
- Arborist experience
- Landscaping knowledge
Bucket Operator/Climber:
- Operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts for high-reaching tasks.
- Climbing trees using ropes, harnesses and other equipment.
- Removing branches, limbs or trees using proper cutting techniques.
- Using rigging techniques to lower heavy branches or tree sections.
- Performing tree pruning and trimming to maintain tree health and aesthetics.
- Running grounds crew, as needed.
Perform clean-up of site including:
- Cleaning up debris and sticks.
- Collecting logs, leaves and branches.
- Cutting, trimming and pruning trees.
- Providing tree healthcare.
- Using a log chipper.
- Driving trucks.
- Transporting equipment.
- Plowing and snow clean-up in the winter.

- Equipment familiarity
- Able to work a flexible schedule
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a bucket operator/climber role.
- 2+ years experience in the tree industry.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug test.
Nice to Haves:
- CDL license
- Hoisting license
Pay varies depending on experience with the equipment and licenses noted above. Pay ranges between $20-$35/hour.
Hours are flexible depending on crew availability.
Jobs generally are in a 20 miles radius of Byfield, MA.
