Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage division drivers.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.
  • Oversee employee performance.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Track PTO requests.
  • Track driver hours and timesheets to submit for payroll processing.
  • Keep a record of quarterly bonus eligibility for drivers and communicate changes for payroll processing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the fleet of vehicles in the 7D Operations Division including, but not limited to, inspections, registration, proper equipment, maintenance, and services.
  • Manage the new hire process.
  • Track driver records in RMV database regularly to ensure requirements are maintained.
  • Track ongoing required driver continuing education (CE) training.
  • Provide route management support and driver tracking.
  • Maintain a strong rapport with drivers.
  • Perform weekly inspections with drivers.
  • Perform administrative tasks including, but not limited to, answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in office administration or related field.
  • 1+ years of transportation coordinator experience.
  • 1+ years of supervisory or management experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Some after hours and weekend work may be needed.
  • 40 hours per week

Compensation:

  • $31.25 – $36.05/hour
